Oceanview Helicopters Ltd. in partnership with Canadian Wildlife Capture Ltd. is just in the process wrapping up their 6th successful winter wildlife work season. The crews were very busy over the last 4 months capturing and collaring many Caribou, Wolves, Bighorn Sheep and Moose. One of the larger projects this year was for the Fish and Wildlife Department of the Ministry of Forest Lands Natural Resource Operations in British Columbia. The crew assisted in deploying GPS tracking collars on wolves in the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area to monitor populations, predator-prey interactions and pack movements.
